Under the auspices of Prof. Mahmoud El-Meteini, President of Ain Shams University, Prof. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, the university participated with a large student delegation in the celebration held by the Ministry of the Interior for Police Day, which was held at the Police Sports Union, where the five-a-side football and volleyball teams at the university participated in the activities and events that were held at the Police Sports Union headquarters, as well as honoring a number of people with special needs from Ain Shams University.
The university delegation received a warm reception from all the police leaders who witnessed the activities, and who emphasized the fruitful cooperation between the Ministry of Interior and Ain Shams University on various occasions, thanking the university leaders for their constant endeavor to raise awareness among students and develop the national spirit and feelings of loyalty and belonging to the homeland.
The competitive competitions resulted the victory of the university volleyball team over its counterpart from the Police Union by three clean goals, and the football team beat its counterpart from the Police Union with a score of 9 goals to two.
Prof. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President of Ain Shams University, confirmed that the university is keen to develop national awareness among students and instill a sense of belonging, in addition to refining their skills in various fields, as this is an integral part of building personality, as well as interest in the educational process.
It is noteworthy that the participation of university students came under the supervision of Prof. Tamer Rady, Advisor to the Vice President for Student Activities, and Mrs. Reham Al-Atifi, who is in charge of the university's assistant secretary for education and student affairs, and Mr. Muhammad Al-Sharqawi, Director General of the General Administration of Youth Welfare and Mr. Mohamed Hassan, Director of the Department of Sports Activity at the University and technical supervision of Mrs. Fatima Khalifa and Mr. Karim Hani, Students Union, President of the Student Union, Secretary of the Higher Sports Committee, and Assistant Secretary of the Higher Sports Committee.
