What Is the STEP Up Project?
The STEP Up Project is an innovative educational initiative designed to bridge the gap between academic outcomes and labor market demands through an integrated framework of complementary learning tracks and micro-credentials. Built on a competency-based education model, the project aligns with international best practices and quality standards. The project provides students, graduates, and professionals with flexible learning opportunities to acquire advanced practical knowledge and in-demand skills through a system of *Micro-Credentials*. These are standalone, stackable learning units that are recognized academically and professionally, enabling learners to build personalized educational tracks that align with their career aspirations, promote lifelong learning, and enhance employability and career advancement. The project also prepares a new generation of professionals capable of driving innovation and adapting to the rapid transformations reshaping the global economy, including the Fourth and Fifth Industrial Revolutions. In doing so, it strengthens graduates' competitiveness and supports national efforts to build a knowledge- and innovation-driven economy. The STEP Up Project comprises seven specialized complementary learning pathways covering key future-oriented Tracks:
