In line with the strategic orientation of the Egyptian state and the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research toward optimal investment in human capital and preparing university students for both local and international labor markets, the importance of fostering scientific innovation and supporting young talents has become increasingly evident, particularly in light of the rapid advancements across various scientific and technological fields worldwide.
Within this context, the Academy of Scientific Research and Technology (ASRT) plays a pivotal role in building bridges of international scientific cooperation, seeking to maximize the benefits of its partnerships with a wide range of leading global research organizations and institutions.
The Academy focuses on providing high-quality and distinguished opportunities for students at Egyptian universities and institutes, enabling them to enroll in intensive training programs within advanced international research environments characterized by diversity and openness, offering the highest levels of scientific and professional qualification.
This international cooperation aims to achieve a set of qualitative objectives, most notably:
Enhancing students’ scientific and practical competencies by equipping them with applied skills and direct hands-on experience in the latest fields of science and technology.
Promoting students’ engagement in research and development systems, opening new horizons for their participation in advanced scientific projects, and enabling interaction with experts and researchers from diverse nationalities and cultures.
Enabling students to explore the latest research methodologies and innovative technologies, while developing their critical thinking and teamwork skills.
Accordingly, students’ ability to compete effectively at both regional and international levels is strengthened, and their readiness to engage in the global labor market or pursue postgraduate studies at leading international institutions is enhanced, thereby supporting national development and reinforcing Egypt’s scientific and research standing globally.
Within this framework, the Academy of Scientific Research and Technology (ASRT) continues its role in supporting young talents and expanding opportunities for international scientific collaboration.
Building on its partnerships with leading global research institutions, the Academy announces the opening of applications to participate in the Scientific School in Nuclear Sciences, organized by the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research in Dubna, Russia, in the fields of nuclear sciences and their peaceful applications, during the period from June 14 to July 4, 2026.
