The conference brings together a distinguished group of professors, experts, researchers, and specialists in the fields of agriculture and horticulture, reflecting the growing interest in developing this vital sector, which represents one of the fundamental pillars for supporting food security and strengthening Egypt’s agricultural economy.
The conference is being held at a critically important time, amid the rapid challenges facing the agricultural sector, most notably climate change, water scarcity, and the need to keep pace with modern technological advancements. This necessitates the adoption of advanced scientific visions that align with these changes and support the sustainability of agricultural production.
The conference addresses several key themes, including the development and enhancement of horticultural production systems, the application of modern and smart agricultural technologies, the promotion of sustainable agricultural practices, and the improvement of crop quality and productivity. It also emphasizes supporting scientific research and linking it to practical applications in the agricultural sector.
Furthermore, the conference seeks to strengthen the role of innovation in advancing the horticulture sector and to open new avenues for collaboration between research institutions and executive bodies. This will contribute to the exchange of expertise and the establishment of effective partnerships that support the achievement of sustainable agricultural development in Egypt, in line with global trends in this field.
