Under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen, President of Ain Shams University; Prof. Rami Maher Sadeq, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs; Prof. Yassin El-Shazly, Dean of the Faculty of Law; and Prof. Mohamed Ibrahim El-Shafei, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, students from the Faculty of Law, representing Ain Shams University, are participating for the first time in the largest mock trial competition in the field of international commercial arbitration.

The competition is held in Vienna, Republic of Austria, and brings together leading law schools from around the world. The participation takes place in the 33rd edition of the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot Court Competition.
The team is supervised by Dr. Ahmed Khalifa, Lecturer of Criminal Law and Director of the International Cooperation Office at the Faculty, and Dr. Basma Adel El-Sen, Lecturer of Public International Law and Deputy Director of the International Cooperation Office.
The participating team from the English Section includes the following students: Youssef Mahmoud Samir Taha, Hedayah Omar Makram Mohamed Mahmoud Awad, Malak Ahmed Mahmoud Mawafy, Nancy Tamer Mohamed Amr Salah El-Din, and Laila Hesham Helmy Mohamed Allam.
The team is trained by a group of distinguished alumni from the English Section of the Faculty of Law: Abdelrahman Wissam El-Din El-Sayed Ahmed El-Baradei, Hagar Ali Ibrahim Ali Ali, Ahmed Abdel-Gid Mosaad Abdel-Galil Abdel-Gawad Hamida, and Youssef Abdelrahman Safwat El-Husseiny. They have previously participated in numerous international moot court competitions, contributing to their practical experience to prepare the students effectively for the competition.
