The President and Vice Presidents of Ain Shams University extend their congratulations to Prof. Hani Hanna Azer on his appointment as Minister of Parliamentary Affairs

Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El Abedeen, President of Ain Shams University, Prof. Ghada Farouk, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, Prof. Amany Osama Kamel, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research, Prof. Rami Maher Ghali, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, the deans and vice deans of the faculties, and the entire Ain Shams University community extend their heartfelt congratulations to Prof. Hani Hanna Azer on his appointment as Minister of Parliamentary Affairs.

Counselor Hani Hanna Sidra Azer, the newly appointed Minister of Parliamentary Affairs, was born on October 24, 1953, and graduated from the Faculty of Law, Ain Shams University in 1975.

Counselor Hani Hanna was appointed to the Public Prosecution Office the year after his graduation, where he progressed through its various positions and ranks before moving to the bench in the primary courts. From there, he worked in the Public Prosecution Office at the Court of Cassation, progressing through its various positions. He was then appointed as a counselor at the Court of Cassation and promoted to the rank of Vice President of the Court of Cassation in 2001.

Counselor Hani Hanna served as Assistant Minister of Justice for the Legal Departments Sector for three years, and subsequently as Assistant Minister of Justice for the Legislation Sector for eight years. He also served as a judge at the Arab Investment Court.
