Joy and enthusiasm filled the entertainment festival for Ain Shams University students at the Golden Jewel Hotel in Ismailia

As part of Ain Shams University's commitment to supporting student activities and enhancing the quality of university life, the university's entertainment festival was launched on Friday at the Golden Jewel Hotel in Ismailia. The event, which was filled with joy and interaction, featured Egyptian and international students, as well as students residing in university dormitories.

The day also saw a special gathering of university students with disabilities who have won local and international Olympic sports championships. These students, accompanied by their families, participated in an atmosphere of appreciation and celebration of their remarkable achievements, underscoring the university's dedication to supporting them and promoting their inclusion in various student activities and events.

The festival was held under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El Abedeen, President of Ain Shams University, and Prof. Rami Maher Ghali, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs. Administrative coordination and supervision were provided by Mr. Ibrahim Saeed Hamza, Assistant Secretary of the University for Education and Student Affairs, and in the presence of Prof. Dina Lashin, Director of the International Students Office.

The festival is part of a comprehensive vision aimed at achieving a balance between the academic and recreational aspects of university life, as well as expanding student participation in various trips and events. This contributes to strengthening the sense of belonging, enhancing communication, developing students' skills, broadening their horizons, and increasing their connection to the university.

 

The festivall program, characterized by enthusiasm and joy, included a diverse range of recreational activities, such as enjoying the swimming pools, playing sports on the equipped fields, taking in the beautiful scenery and the charm of the Suez Canal, and taking a group photo to commemorate the occasion.

During the festival, the Golden Jewel Hotel in Ismailia hosted more than 1,000 students, including Egyptian, international, and students with disabilities, from various faculties of the university.

The Education and Student Affairs Sector, headed by Prof. Rami Maher Ghali, Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs, extends its sincere thanks and appreciation to Brigadier General Hani Magdy Fakhry, Director of the Golden Jewel Armed Forces Hotel Club in Ismailia Governorate, and to the Armed Forces Clubs Administration, for their warm hospitality and generous welcome, and for providing a special day for the students as part of the fruitful cooperation with the University's Education and Student Affairs Sector.
