The Department of Artistic Activity organizes training workshops for university students to hone their talents in various artistic fields. For example, a workshop is held to train students in plastic arts (sculpture - drawing - photography - ........), as well as educational workshops to train students in playing music, reading sheet music, and singing.

Theatrical festivals
Theatrical self-sufficiency festival
It is a festival organized by the Department of Artistic Activity to compete in the field of theatrical representation between the university’s faculties. The idea of the festival is that the director of the show is a student, and professional elements are not allowed except in the narrowest limits, with the aim of graduating a new generation of university students who are capable of carrying out integrated theatrical work.
Three shields (golden - silver - bronze) are presented as prizes for the best elements in each (direction - acting - presentation), in addition to a set of certificates of appreciation for the distinguished elements of the students participating in the festival.
Theater Acting Festival (Grand)
It is a festival organized by the Department of Artistic Activity to compete in the field of theatrical representation between the faculties of the university. It differs from the self-sufficiency festival in terms of allowing the use of a professional director and other professional elements in order to raise the level of students in the field of theater and provide the opportunity for students to benefit from experienced professional directors and other professional elements. Three shields (gold - silver - bronze) are presented as prizes for the best elements in each of them (direction - acting - decoration - writing - presentation), in addition to a set of certificates of appreciation for the distinguished elements of the students participating in the festival.

Free Theater Festival
It is one of the theatrical performance festivals organized by the Department of Artistic Activity for students of university faculties. The idea of the festival is based on the mixing of teams with each other so that each team is composed of a group of students from different faculties. Certificates of Appreciation are presented to the best elements of the students participating in the festival as the best actor, actress, director, decorator and music (three certificates for each field).
Theater Specialists Festival
It is a national festival organized by the Department of Artistic Activity to compete in the field of theatrical representation between faculties and institutes specialized in the field of theater at the level of the Republic.

Competitions
Self-sufficiency competition for musicians and choir
It is a competition organized by the Department of Artistic Activity to compete in the fields of playing and singing between the faculties of the university. The idea of the festival is that the coach of the team is a student and does not allow the use of professional elements, with the aim of graduating a new generation of university students who are able to implement integrated musical and lyrical works.
Three shields (golden - silver - bronze) are presented as prizes for the best elements in each (singer - female singer - instrumentalist - team - training and leadership), in addition to a set of certificates of appreciation for the distinguished elements of the students participating in the festival.
Variety of competitions in the fields of music and choir
It is a competition organized by the Department of Artistic Activity to compete in the fields of classical music, playing and singing between the faculties of the university. The idea of the competition is based on the use of a professional coach with the aim of developing the sense of music, spreading artistic awareness, and raising the level of talented students.
Three shields (golden, silver, and bronze) are presented as prizes for the best elements in each (singers, singers, musicians, and teams), in addition to a set of certificates of appreciation for the distinguished elements of the students participating in the festival.
Religious Singing Competition
It is a competition organized by the Department of Artistic Activity to compete in the field of religious chanting. It is a singles competition among students of the university faculties through which the best elements are selected to form a religious singing team that represents the university in various local forums.

Folk Art Competition
It is a competition organized by the Department of Artistic Activity to compete in the field of performance and folk arts between the faculties of the university, with the aim of introducing university students to folklore, which is committed to Egyptian culture and literature.
Three shields (gold - silver - bronze) and certificates of appreciation are presented as prizes for the best three works, the best trainer, and the best performer and movement performer.
