The Faculty of Business at Ain Shams University, under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El Abedeen, President of Ain Shams University, and Prof. Rami Maher, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, witnessed a grand ceremony to crown the champions of the "Ideal Student" competition for the academic year 2025-2026. This event marked the conclusion of the pioneering "Tegara Talent" initiative launched by Prof. Farid Moharram El Garhy, Dean of the Faculty, who distinguished himself by his presence and personal sponsorship of the closing ceremony.

The unique competition kicked off on Sunday and Monday, December 14-15, 2025, in Prof. Ali Lotfy and Prof. Hussein Issa Halls at the faculty, amidst unprecedented student enthusiasm. Thirty-four students from various programs and departments (Arabic, English, and French) competed in comprehensive challenges, showcasing their leadership, intellectual, and creative talents. They answered carefully crafted questions covering general knowledge, culture, social awareness, and critical thinking.

The closing ceremony, which marked the culmination of the initiative, was attended by Prof. Mohamed Morsi, Vice Dean of the Faculty for Community Service and Environmental Development, and Dr. Iman Abdel Salam, Academic Coordinator for the French Language Studies Department.

In a scene reflecting the rich cultural and academic diversity embraced by the faculty, the results of the fierce competition announced the crowning of six new stars as the competition's champions:

* Ideal Student: Youhanna Maher Khalil Abadir (Fourth Year)

* Ideal Student: Zainab Khaled Mohamed (Fourth Year)

◄ From the English Language Department:

* deal Student: Huda Ahmed Moussa (Second Year)

* Ideal Student: Sarah Hatem Adel (Second Year)

◄ From the Arabic Language Department:

* Ideal Student: Habiba Hesham Abdel Latif (Third Year)

* Ideal Student: Mohamed Sherif Abou El-Magd (Third Year)

The outstanding students received certificates of appreciation in recognition of their overall excellence and remarkable diligence. This practical step embodies the faculty administration's commitment to nurturing talent and motivating students to engage in positive competition and excel in all fields.

In his important speech during the ceremony, Prof. Farid Muharram Al-Jarhi, Dean of the Faculty, emphasized that the "Tegara Talent" initiative is a practical implementation of the political leadership's vision for human development and a natural extension of presidential initiatives supporting youth. He added, "Our goal is not merely to discover talented individuals, but to provide a recognized and organized platform within the faculty that allows students to showcase their potential, refine their leadership, artistic, and social skills, and develop them under scientific and institutional supervision, so that they may become ambassadors of excellence and leaders of the future."

The Dean of the Faculty also expressed his sincere thanks to the participating students for their highly competitive spirit and discipline, wishing them continued success in their careers. He also gave special thanks to the Faculty Student Union for the outstanding organization, represented by student Fatima Helmy, Assistant Secretary, and student Mohamed Ehab, Secretary of the Social and Trips Committee. He also appreciated the efforts of the Faculty Youth Welfare Department, especially Mr. Khaled Yahya, Head of the Social and Trips Committee, Ms. Abeer Abdel-Tawab, and Mr. Mohamed Assem, the Committee Supervisors, for their efforts to ensure the success of the event.

It is worth noting that the Faculty of Business at Ain Shams University continues, through such high-quality initiatives, to solidify its position as a center of expertise that not only provides academic knowledge but also focuses on graduating a distinguished generation of well-rounded individuals capable of creativity, innovation, and leading the process of sustainable development.
