The Faculty of Dentistry Celebrates the Graduation of the Class of 2025 of Master’s Graduates in Dental Implants

Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen, President of Ain Shams University, attended the Faculty of Dentistry’s ceremony celebrating the graduation of the Class of 2025 of the Master’s Program in Dental Implants. The event was attended by Prof. Karim El-Batouti, Dean of the Faculty; Prof. Dalia El-Qurashi, Vice Dean for Graduate Studies and Research; Prof. Reham Magdy, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs; Professor Walaa Hamed, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development; and Professor Karim Mohsen, Director of the Master’s Program in Dental Implants, in addition to a distinguished group of faculty staff and graduates’ families.

         
   
         

In his address, Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen expressed his deep appreciation for the efforts exerted in preparing and developing the Master’s Program in Dental Implants, extending his thanks to the program’s teaching staff across the various departments. He affirmed his pride in the graduates and their achievements, emphasizing the importance of continuing the path of development and progress established by previous administrations.

For his part, Professor Karim El-Batouti, Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry, welcomed the attendees and extended his gratitude to the University President for his continued support of the faculty. He stressed that the achievements accomplished in previous periods constitute the fundamental pillar upon which the current administration builds its development plans. He also congratulated the program’s graduates and their families and thanked all those involved in the program.

         
   
         

Professor Dalia El-Qurashi affirmed that the graduation of this cohort represents the culmination of years of diligent effort and hard work, and the beginning of a new stage in the graduates’ professional careers. She extended her thanks to the university and faculty administrations, the program director, and faculty members for their sincere efforts and close follow-up to overcome challenges and ensure the program’s success.

She also reviewed an overview of the Master’s Program in Dental Implants since its inception and inclusion in the postgraduate credit-hour bylaws in 2015, through its development from a two-year to a three-year program. She highlighted the pivotal role played by Professor Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen, who was serving as Dean of the Faculty at the time, in advancing the program in line with international standards.

Professor Karim Mohsen outlined the nature of study and instruction within the program, expressing his appreciation to the students for their commitment, cooperation, and dedication to achieving the highest possible academic and practical benefit. He emphasized that their success today is a source of pride for all those involved in the program.

The ceremony also featured the screening of a documentary film about theFaculty of Dentistry, showcasing its history, distinguished educational and research journey, and highlighting its leading status and most notable academic and research achievements.
