Student activities, he stressed, are not merely recreational events, but meaningful spaces for self-discovery, talent development, and capacity building. Through these activities, students gain essential teamwork and leadership skills and are exposed to new experiences that enrich their characters and prepare them for professional life and the labor market.

Their commitment, he noted, reflects a conscious vision and a steadfast belief in the value of student activities and their role in shaping young people’s awareness, enhancing their skills, and building balanced and well-rounded personalities.

He also urged students to be active participants in university activities, affirming that Ain Shams University will continue to be a genuine supporter of its students and will keep providing a rich campus environment filled with programs and events that nurture creativity and open wide horizons for innovation and excellence.

The festival runs for three consecutive days and features a diverse program of sports, cultural, artistic, and religious competitions, including five-a-side football, table tennis, running, tug-of-war, chess, PlayStation games, billiards, as well as competitions in acting, singing, poetry recitation, musical performance, chanting, hymns, handicrafts, an art exhibition, and a general knowledge league. In addition, the events include Holy Qur’an competitions in memorization and recitation, as well as fitness and arm-wrestling contests.

The festival is organized as part of the “Students for Egypt” Family’s commitment to revitalizing student life, supporting student families, encouraging participation in activities, discovering and nurturing talents, and strengthening teamwork and a sense of belonging to the university. These efforts contribute to exchanging experiences between families across faculties and developing students’ personal and leadership skills.
