He recounted his early career in radio and television, his work with the Maspero broadcasting team, his training by expert professors in the field, and his initial work as an English-language broadcaster before developing his skills to become an Arabic-language broadcaster for satellite channels.

He also explained that working in the media field requires a genuine desire for knowledge and experience, emphasizing that survival and advancement depend on one's diligence and ability to excel.

He also pointed out the most significant shortcomings of content circulating on social media, explaining that most of it lacks depth and accuracy and does not present the facts fully.

He emphasized that standing out amidst the deluge of content can only be achieved by relying on facts, stressing that qualified journalists and broadcasters, graduates of media faculties, are best equipped to verify and distinguish between truth and falsehood.

He added that social media platforms do not present topics in a comprehensive manner, which reinforces the importance of specialized, professional media.

He pointed out that achieving excellence and establishing a presence in the media field requires redoubled effort and making a real impact.

At the conclusion of the seminar, a discussion session was held, during which students raised several questions about media work and contemporary professional challenges. Finally, journalist Sherif Amer was honored in recognition of his career, his contributions to the media field, and his role in sharing his practical experience with the faculty's students.
