Under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain Al-Abedeen, President of Ain Shams University, the University’s Speedball Team achieved a new milestone by topping the overall ranking in the 53rd Egyptian Universities Championship “Martyr El-Refaai,” held from November 16 to 18 at the Indoor Hall of Cairo University.

Ain Shams University’s team participated in the championship under the administrative supervision of Mr. Ibrahim Saeed Hamza, Assistant Secretary-General for the Education and Student Affairs Sector, and was organized by the Sports Activity Department at the General Administration of Youth Welfare.

The championship featured 16 public, private, and community universities. Ain Shams University’s team achieved outstanding results, securing first place in the overall ranking with a total of eight medals: 1 gold, 6 silvers, and 1 bronze.

The results were as follows:

First place and gold medal: Women’s doubles.

Second place and six silver medals in:

Men’s doubles

- Women’s single

- Mixed relay

Third place and bronze medal: Men’s solo.
