The Vice President of Ain Shams University for Graduate Studies and Research Attends Second Session of the Annual University Conferences Coordination Committee Meeting

Under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen, President of Ain Shams University, Prof. Amany Osama Kamel, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research, attended the second session of the Annual Conferences Coordination Committee meeting at the university, with the participation of committee members including deans and vice deans of the various faculties, Prof. Kamal Obeid, Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Dentistry, Director of the International Cooperation Office and Rapporteur of the Committee, as well as a number of faculty members from across the university.

In her remarks, Prof. Amany Osama Kamel expressed her appreciation for the efforts of the committee members in supporting and organizing the university’s scientific conferences. She extended special thanks to Dr. Kamal Obeid for his outstanding efforts in coordinating the conferences and his continuous dedication to ensuring they are conducted in a manner that reflects the prestige and academic standing of Ain Shams University.

Prof. Amany emphasized the university’s commitment to developing the scientific conference system in terms of organization, content, and scientific and societal impact. She noted that any college-level scientific or international conference must adhere to the regulations and frameworks set by the university.

The committee also discussed the internal departmental conferences within faculties and the potential for integration across various academic departments. It was agreed that the annual faculty conference is to be recognized as the main accredited conference by the university, to enhance organizational efficiency, optimize resources, and maximize scientific benefit.

This meeting comes as part of Ain Shams University’s vision to strengthen institutional coordination and promote systematic scientific research, fostering greater integration among faculties and contributing to enriched scientific output and collaborative research at both the national and international levels.
