The monthly meeting of the Education and Student Affairs Council was held yesterday, Tuesday, October 21, 2025, under the chairmanship of Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen, President of Ain Shams University. The meeting was attended by council members including deans and vice deans for education and student affairs from various faculties, as well as external members, notably Prof. Mamdouh El-Damaty, former Minister of Antiquities.

During the meeting, the council reviewed the progress of the educational process, discussing ways to enhance it by providing all necessary facilities to students and ensuring the prompt resolution of all pending matters.

Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen emphasized the importance of establishing unified regulations for disciplinary councils across all university faculties, as well as clear guidelines for disciplinary appeals councils.

Furthermore, the president assigned Mr. Ibrahim Saeed Hamza, Assistant Secretary-General for the Education and Student Affairs Sector, to support academic field trips in faculties that require them, by providing all needed facilitation and resources. He also tasked him with following up on the activation of student activities across all university faculties.
