Under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen, President of Ain Shams University, and Dr. Maya Morsy, Minister of Social Solidarity, the Education and Student Affairs Sector, represented by the central "Students for Egypt" family and the Scouts Committee of the General Administration for Youth Welfare, in cooperation with the Ministry of Social Solidarity and with the participation of the Egyptian Red Crescent, is set to launch the second edition of the "Red Week" campaign under the slogan "Recharge Your Energy" today, Monday, October 20, at the main university campus (Campus One).

The campaign aims to raise students’ awareness of how to deal with life pressures, introduce the services provided by the social solidarity units at the university, and promote a spirit of initiative and volunteerism among Ain Shams University students.

These activities come as part of the ongoing fruitful cooperation between Ain Shams University, Education and Student Affairs Sector, represented by the "Students for Egypt" family and the General Administration for Youth Welfare, and the Ministry of Social Solidarity, represented by Dr. Mohamed El-Akkabi, Assistant Minister of Social Solidarity for Strategic Communication and Media, and Supervisor of Social Solidarity Units at Universities. This cooperation contributes to the implementation of developmental and volunteer initiatives that promote the concept of social responsibility and support the state’s efforts to achieve sustainable development.

The campaign is organized under the general coordination and administrative supervision of Mr. Ibrahim Said Hamza, Assistant Secretary of the University for the Education and Student Affairs Sector and Mr. Osama Saad, Coordinator of the Social Solidarity Units Project at Egyptian Universities.
