Prof. Hanan Kamel, Dean of the Faculty of Arts at Ain Shams University, inaugurated the annual Book Fair organized by the Anglo-Egyptian Library in cooperation with the faculty, held from October 5 to 9, 2025.

During her tour of the exhibition, the Dean expressed her pleasure with the strong turnout of students and researchers from the early hours of the opening, affirming that the fair represents one of the fruitful forms of cooperation between the faculty and institutions dedicated to promoting culture and scientific research.
She also praised the wide variety of books, references, and scientific scales on display, noting the importance of providing these resources at discounted prices to encourage students to read and purchase books. This initiative, she added, reflects the faculty’s commitment to fostering an enriched educational and intellectual environment within the University.
For his part, Prof. Hatem Rabie, Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Research, expressed his appreciation for this cultural initiative, which contributes to supporting scientific research and broadening the horizons of students and researchers. He emphasized that such events form a cornerstone in building an enlightened, knowledge-based society.
Visitors to the fair commended the well-organized setup and the diversity of displayed titles, particularly those related to literary, psychological, and social disciplines, in addition to academic textbooks relevant to students across various study levels.
The Anglo-Egyptian Library continues to offer special discounts of up to 25% on books, tests, and scientific references, in a move aimed at encouraging the university community to benefit from a rich and diverse body of academic and cultural content.
