The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Prof. Ayman Ashour, inaugurated the Akhbar El-Youm Higher Education Exhibition. He also inspected the Ain Shams University pavilion, which is participating as an official sponsor at the exhibition. The exhibition is held under the patronage of Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, and the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen, President of Ain Shams University, is also present, in cooperation with the Akhbar El-Youm Foundation, and is organized by the Education and Student Sector – General Administration of Education and Student Affairs.

The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research praised the diversity offered by Ain Shams University in its programs and newly established faculties, emphasizing its academic excellence.

Students with high school diplomas and equivalent certificates, along with their families, flocked to the university’s pavilion at the Akhbar El-Youm Higher Education Exhibition – UniEgypt 9, which is being held from August 13-14, 2025, at the Cairo International Convention Center in Nasr City. The exhibition is organized by the Ain Shams University Education and Student Sector, represented by the General Administration of Education and Student Affairs, from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

The pavilion received many inquiries about the university’s new and distinguished programs, which were well-received by visitors. The pavilion organizers also answered students’ questions about graduate and language programs, as well as dual degrees, which allow students to obtain two accredited degrees: one from Ain Shams University and the other from a prestigious foreign university.

Ain Shams University’s participation in the exhibition continues over two days, with a team of organizers and guides providing students with comprehensive information about the university and its programs, in addition to souvenirs.

The Ain Shams University pavilion was visited by journalist Islam Afifi, editor-in-chief of Akhbar Al-Youm, a number of prominent figures, a large number of university presidents, and leaders from the Ministry of Higher Education.

Ain Shams University’s participation is under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen, President of the University; Prof. Ghada Farouk, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development; Prof. Amany Osama Kamel, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research; and under the supervision of Prof. Mona Abdel Aal, Director of the University’s Education Development Department; and Mr. Mohamed El Gammal, Head of the Central Administration of the University President’s Sector; Mr. Ibrahim Saeed, Assistant Secretary-General of the University for Education and Student Affairs; Dr. Reham El-Ottify, Director-General of the General Administration for Education and Student Affairs.
