The Faculty of Law at Ain Shams University will hold a memorial ceremony on Sunday, August 9, in honor of the late Prof. Hamdy Abdel Rahman, Professor of Civil Law and former Dean of the Faculty of Law at Menoufia University. The ceremony will take place at 5:00 p.m. in the Faculty's New Lecture Hall.

Prof. Yassin El-Shazly, Dean of the Faculty of Law, stated that the event is being organized to honor the late professor's distinguished academic and national legacy. Widely recognized as one of the leading scholars of civil law in Egypt and the Arab world, Prof. Abdel Rahman made lasting scholarly and jurisprudential contributions to legal education and played a pivotal role in educating generations of judges and legal professionals.

The ceremony is expected to be attended by senior university officials, faculty staff, distinguished members of the judiciary and the legal community, as well as the late professor's family, relatives, and former students.
