In support of youth efforts and enhancing their participation in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals, Ain Shams University invites its youth and interested parties to participate in the "King Hamad Youth Empowerment Award to Achieve the Sustainable Development Goals," launched by the Kingdom of Bahrain under the patronage of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and in partnership with the United Nations Development Program (UNDP).
The award aims to empower youth and recognize their initiatives in various aspects of sustainable development. It includes two main categories:
• Youth category (individuals or youth-led or youth-focused entities), which offers five cash prizes of $20,000 each.
• Empowerment category (for institutions and supporting entities), which offers three prizes, with the winning entity receiving a cash prize of up to $25,000.
Applications must be submitted in English through the award's official online platform.
Applications are evaluated based on innovation, impact, scalability, and the ability to inspire others.
