The announcement of the opening of nominations for the 2025 UNESCO Higher Education Digitalization Pioneer Case Award
Ain Shams University announces, as received from the Secretariat of the Supreme Council of Universities, the opening of nominations for the 2025 Higher Education Digitalization Pioneer Case Award, organized by the International Centre for Higher Education Innovation (ICHEI), under the auspices of UNESCO, as part of the International Initiative for Online Higher Education (IIOE).
The award is titled: "Promising Practices Driven by the IIOE Ecosystem: Empowering the Workforce, Promoting Innovation, and Activating Institutional Collaboration."
The award aims to:
• Encourage innovation in education through pioneering digital initiatives.
• Highlight successful practices that enhance the exchange of expertise and cooperation between higher education institutions globally.
• Support the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals in education by employing digital technology to improve the quality of education and expand access to it.
