Ain Shams University through the Community Service and Environmental Development Sector organized a comprehensive development convoy for Beheira Governorate. The convoy was sponsored by Dr. Jacqueline Azar, Governor of Beheira, Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen, President of Ain Shams University, and Prof. Elhamy Ali Trabis, President of Damanhour University. The convoy was chaired by Prof. Ghada Farouk, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, and Prof. Enas Ibrahim, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development. The convoy served the residents of Damsna village in Abu Hummus District, in cooperation with Beheira Governorate and Damanhour University. More than 1,000 beneficiaries benefited from the convoy's various services.

The convoy provided free screening and treatment services, along with awareness campaigns for school students in various grades, addressing healthy habits to prevent diseases and negative phenomena in society.

The university's Adult Education Center, in cooperation with the General Authority for Adult Education, conducted spot tests and opened classes for those wishing to overcome illiteracy.

The convoy was coordinated by Prof. Hala Samir Suweed, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Medicine for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs at Ain Shams University, and Prof. Saber Shehata, Professor at the Faculty of Agriculture at Damanhour University and Medical Convoy Coordinator, under the supervision of Major General Hossam El-Sherbiny, Assistant Secretary of Ain Shams University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs.
