The annual conference of the Faculty of Girls of Arts, Sciences and Education at Ain Shams University, entitled "Identity and Social Cohesion: Together We Create the Future," concluded on Sunday, May 4. The conference was held under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen, President of the University, Prof. Ghada Farouk, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, Prof. Amira Youssef, Dean of the Faculty and Chair of the Conference, Prof. Asmaa Zaazaa, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Hanan El Shaer, Vice Dean for Graduate Studies and Research, and Prof. Heba Barakat, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development.
The conference, held at the faculty theater throughout April, was attended by the faculty's vice deans, a host of professors, faculty staff, teaching assistants, and students.

Prof. Amira Youssef explained that the conference covered the faculty’s three sectors: the Education and Student Affairs Sector, which monitored and organized a number of student celebrations, events, and workshops; the Graduate Studies Sector, which participated in monitoring scientific department conferences; and the Community Service and Environmental Development Sector, which coordinated a number of seminars, sessions, and scientific workshops that covered all aspects of the conference.
She emphasized that the conference program was rich in activities that achieved the conference's objectives and capitalized on the distinctive diversity of the Faculty of Girls, encompassing a variety of scientific, educational, and literary sectors and departments.
On the sidelines of the closing ceremony, the Dean of the Faculty honored the pioneers of the departments, heads and directors of units, the best department and administration, and the outstanding employee. She also honored the Director General of the Faculty, Youth Welfare, and the Student Union, wishing them further progress and success.
