The Faculty of Computer and Information Sciences won the first place at the Huawei ICT Competition 2024/2025 at the North African level
Two students from the faculty participated as part of a team in the Huawei ICT Competition 2024/2025 at the North African level in the field of computing. The two students (Abdelrahman Abdel Nasser, Abdelrahman Adel) within the team won first place. The Egyptian team competed with more than 30 teams representing 12 African countries from more than 100 different universities, and they were able to win first place with merit, which qualifies them to represent the continent in the global finals that will be held in China next May, where they will compete at the global level from more than 100 countries.
