Under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen, President of Ain Shams University; Prof. Mohamed Safi, Dean of the Faculty of Law; and Prof. Mohamed El-Shafei, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, and within the framework of the Faculty’s commitment to enhancing students’ knowledge and skills, and bridging theoretical studies with practical application, the Moot Court Association, under the Cultural and Media Committee of the Youth Welfare Department, organized field visits for law students to the North Cairo Primary Court in three groups. So far, two groups have completed their visits, and preparations are underway for the third group.

Students were accompanied during the visits by Prof. Sayed Ahmed Mahmoud, supervisor of the Moot Court Association, Professor of Civil Procedure Law, and former Vice Dean of the Faculty; Dr. Osama Ramadan, Assistant Lecturer in the Department of Civil Procedure Law; and Ms. Afaf Mohamed, Head of the Cultural and Media Committee.

During the visit, students were given a guided tour of the court complex alongside officials. They observed the operations of various court departments and were introduced to the electronic system for renewing pretrial detention. They also visited the court library and learned how to utilize it for legal research support. Students had the opportunity to attend actual court sessions, offering them valuable practical insight into judicial proceedings.

The visit concluded with a meeting with Counselor Yasser Hussein, President of the North Cairo Primary Court, who warmly welcomed the students and stressed the importance of integrating practical training with academic study to shape competent and distinguished legal professionals.
