Under the patronage of Professor Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abidine, President of Ain Shams University, and Professor Farid Moharram El-Garhy, Dean of the Faculty of Business, the Faculty is organizing a specialized professional seminar entitled: “Building a Global Career Path in Investment Management: The CFA Program, Specialized Certifications, and Practical Career Pathways.”

This seminar comes as part of the Faculty of Business’s commitment to providing added value to its students by introducing them to the latest global standards in financial and banking specializations, as well as opening direct channels of communication with international experts in the fields of investment and asset management.

The seminar will be held on Thursday, January 22, 2026, at 3:00 PM, at Prof. Ali Lotfy Hall, Faculty of Business, Ain Shams University. It will feature lectures delivered by a distinguished group of prominent international and local experts in investment and finance.

International Expert: Rob Langrick

Rob Langrick holds the CFA and CIPM designations and currently serves as Managing Director of Product Support at the CFA Institute, based in the New York office. He possesses extensive leadership experience, having previously served as Chief Executive Officer of the global CFA Program, where he led the modernization of curricula and annual professional standards. He also formerly headed financial education at Bloomberg, where he launched the professional certification program that now serves more than one million professionals worldwide.

Prominent Egyptian Global Expert: Ashraf El-Khatib

Ashraf El-Khatib holds three prestigious professional qualifications: CFA, CPA, and MBA. He currently serves as Vice President of CFA Society Egypt and Vice Chair of the Global Educational Advisory Committee at the CFA Institute. He also heads the Private Equity Investment Division at Ekuity Holding, the investment arm of the Kuwait Investment Authority in Egypt, where he oversees both direct and indirect investment strategies. He combines deep practical expertise in local and international financial markets and serves as a vital bridge between the Egyptian and global investment landscapes.
