Under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen, President of Ain Shams University; Prof. Ghada Farouk, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development; and Prof. Farid Moharram El-Garhi, Dean of the Faculty of Business, the Faculty of Business at Ain Shams University announces the organization of a major cultural lecture titled “From the Heart of the Pyramids to the New Museum… A Never-Ending Story.” The event will host the renowned Egyptologist Dr. Zahi Hawass, distinguished Egyptian archaeologist, expert in Egyptology, and former Minister of Tourism and Antiquities, whose name has traveled the world through his archaeological discoveries that contributed to rewriting pages of ancient Egyptian history.
This lecture, scheduled for Monday, 24 November 2025 at 12:00 PM in Prof. Dr. Ali Lotfy Hall at the Faculty of Commerce, comes as part of the historic celebration of the opening of the Grand Egyptian Museum, a global event befitting the grandeur of Egyptian civilization.
It also reflects the university and faculty’s ongoing commitment to enhancing student awareness, spreading culture in all its forms, and contributing to the realization of Egypt’s Vision 2030 for Sustainable Development.
During the lecture, Dr. Zahi Hawass will recount the journey of Egyptian antiquities across the ages, starting with the world’s greatest monuments in the Pyramids area and leading to the most modern cultural landmark, the Grand Egyptian Museum, which represents the new gateway to showcasing Egyptian civilization. It will be an exciting tour moving between a glorious past and a bright present.
