In the presence of the Czech Ambassador, a Czech cultural day was held at the Faculty of Al-Alsun

The Faculty of Al-Alsun at Ain Shams University organized a Czech cultural day, under the patronage of Prof. Salwa Rashad - Dean of the Faculty - under the supervision of Prof. Amr Shatouri - Head of the Czech Language Department - and in the presence of His Excellency the Ambassador of the Czech State in Cairo, Mr. Ivan Yukl, the Cultural and Media Advisor at the Embassy, Mr. Oldsheikh Vondrushka, and faculty staff and students.

During her speech, Prof. Salwa Rashad, Dean of the Faculty, explained that the Czech language program has been accredited by the Quality Assurance Authority, noting that it is the only department concerned with teaching the Czech language in the Middle East.

The department's students presented a number of activities that expressed their proficiency in the Czech language and their knowledge of Czech culture and literature, which impressed the audience and received praise from the Czech ambassador in Cairo. The performances included various arts, such as singing, acting, reciting poetry, and drawing of the most important Czech monuments, as well as puppet theatre, cultural competitions, screen translation, and others.
