The launch of the eighteenth Conference of Physical Medicine and Rheumatology at Ain Shams University

The Department of Physical Medicine, Rheumatology and Rehabilitation at the Faculty of Medicine, Ain Shams University, will hold its eighteenth conference in the period from January 14-18, 2024, under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen, President of the University, and Prof. Ali Al-Anwar, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, at Ain Shams University.

Prof. Amal Al-Ganzouri, Head of the Department and President of the Conference explained that an elite group of Egyptian scholars in the field will participate in the official opening of the conference on Wednesday, January 17, including Prof. Mahmoud Al-Tayeb, former President of Helwan University.

The conference organizing committee also invited specialty professors from all Egyptian universities and armed forces hospitals, in addition to inviting specialty experts from various countries of the world to exchange experiences.

It is noteworthy that the conference of the Department of Physical Medicine, Rheumatology and Rehabilitation at the Faculty of Medicine, at Ain Shams University is considered a beacon of science and specialization and one of the largest conferences held annually at this time of the year.

This year, the conference sheds light on everything new in the field of treatment and diagnosis of rheumatic diseases and osteoporosis, as well as everything new in the world of rehabilitation in various fields in general and for people of determination in particular.

There are also scientific sessions that bring together other specialties from different branches of medicine, to provide an integrated service to the patient in light of the fruitful cooperation between medical professors in various fields.

All rheumatology, physical medicine and rehabilitation doctors will participate in the conference.

The 3 days of conference workshops and 2 days of conference events will be designed to make the gathering of doctors a great forum to explore the latest information regarding advances in medical science and advances in rheumatology treatment around the world.

ASUPMR 2024 will be a unique forum to meet and interact with leading scientists and clinicians involved in the management of rheumatic diseases.

The conference is headed by Prof. Amal Al-Ganzouri, the Head of the Department, Prof. Henaz Farouk, the conference secretary, Dr. Nevin Fouda, Dr. Iman Tawfiq, and the conference rapporteur, Dr. Hossam Salah.
