The 12th scientific conference of the Department of Family Health at the Faculty of Nursing discusses family and community health considering Egypt’s Vision 2030

 

The Department of Family and Community Health Nursing at the Faculty of Nursing, Ain Shams University, organized its 12th scientific conference entitled “Family and Community Health in Light of Egypt’s Vision 2030,” on Sunday, February 25, under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zein Al-Abedeen, President of Ain Shams University, Prof. Ghada Farouk, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, Prof. Sahar Musa Suleiman, Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Siham Girgis Ragheb, Vice Dean of the Faculty for Graduate Studies and Research, under the supervision of Prof. Omaima Mohamed Esmat, Head of Department.

The conference addressed several main topics, including sustainable development and Egypt’s Vision 2030 within the framework of achieving good health for the family and society. It also discussed the role of artificial intelligence in the field and the role of scientific research in improving it.

The conference aims to emphasize the achievement of complete health and well-being for the family and society considering the sustainable development goals and seeks to correct cultural misconceptions that negatively affect the health of the family and society, and to enhance family awareness regarding breast self-examination, reproductive health, sexually transmitted diseases, and family planning services.
