The President of Ain Shams University praises the efforts of the education sector and students during the closing ceremony of the Student Families Festival

Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen, President of Ain Shams University, witnessed the closing of the Student Families Festival for the academic year 2023-2024, whose activities continued over five consecutive days.

In his speech, the President of Ain Shams University praised the efforts of the education sector and students and praised the distinguished student activity this year, stressing the university’s constant keenness to support student activities in all their diversity. Believing in its role in creating a balanced personality capable of excellence and giving, he also thanked all directors of student activities departments, administrators and workers for their efforts during the past weeks.

The university president’s speech was followed by a poetry recital section, delivered by the student Karima Manaze, then an artistic section by Choir On, led by Maestro Mahmoud Saber. A closing video of the Families Festival was also shown, and His Excellency distributed certificates of appreciation to the students who won the individual awards, which were as follows:

Ahmed Hamada Al-Sayyed, first place in the game of billiards, at the Faculty of Education, Radwa Sayed Muhammad, first place in the chess, at the Faculty of Al-Alsun, Muhammad Mubarak Hossam El-Din, first place in the chess, at the Faculty of Computer and Information Sciences, Karima Manazi’, first place in the poetry recitation competition, at the Faculty of Girls, Mahmoud Abdel Rahman Mahmoud, First place in the Holy Quran Competition, at the Faculty of Agriculture. Nancy Ali Sayed won first place in the Singing Competition, at the Faculty of Arts.

His Excellency also handed over the prizes to the winning faculties, the results of which were during the Student Families Festival activities for the academic year 2023-2024 as follows:

In the male chess competition, the delegation from the Faculty of Computer and Information Sciences took first place, the delegation from the Faculty of Arts took second place, and the delegation from the Faculty of Engineering took third place. In the female student chess competition, the Faculty of Al-Alsun took first place, the Faculty of Mass of Communication took second place, and the Dormitories University took third place.

In the table tennis competition, the Faculty of Business won first place, the Faculty of Law won second place, and the Dormitories University won third place. In the table tennis competition for female students, the Faculty of Business won first place, the Faculty of Law won second place, and the Faculty of Al-Alsun won third place.

In the running competition for male students, the Faculty of Business won first place, the Faculty of Engineering won second place, and the Faculty of Medicine won third place

As for the running competition for female students, the Faculty of Business got first place, the v of Education got second place, and the Dormitories University got third place.

In the billiards competition, the Faculty of Education won first place, the Faculty of Business won second place, and the Faculty of Law won third place.

In the poetry recitation competition, the Faculty of Girls won first place, the Faculty of Agriculture won second place, and the Faculty of Business won third place.

The Information League competition resulted in the Faculty of Arts taking first place, the Faculty of Business taking second place, and the Faculty of Agriculture taking third place

The Faculty of Business won first place in the volleyball competition, while the Faculty of Arts won second place, and the Faculty of Al-Alsun won third place.

The Holy Quran competition ended with the Faculty of Agriculture taking first place, the Faculty of Education taking second place, and the Faculty of Computer and Information Sciences taking third place.

In the handball competition, the Faculty of Business took first place, the Faculty of Computer and Information Sciences took second place, and the Dormitories University took third place.

As for the basketball competition, the Faculty of Business won first place, the Faculty of Law won second place, and the Faculty of Computer and Information Sciences won third place

In the arm wrestling competition, the Faculty of Business won first place, the Faculty of Education won second place, and the Faculty of Medicine won third place

In the five-a-side football competition, the Faculty of Law won first place, the Faculty of Computer and Information Sciences won second place, and the Faculty of Agriculture won third place.

As for the singing competition activities, the Faculty of Arts won first place, the Faculty of Computer and Information Sciences won second place, and the Faculty of Agriculture won third place

In the Fine Arts Competition, the Faculty of Business won first place, the Faculty of Dentistry won second place, and the Faculty of Law won third place.

As for the artistic sketch competition, the Faculty of Girls won first place, the Faculty of Arts won second place, and the Faculty of Science won third place.
