Ain Shams University students participate in the Air Force Museum’s celebration of the 72nd Egyptian Police Day under the title: “Together we protect the homeland.”

Ain Shams University students participated in the Air Force Museum’s celebration of the 72nd anniversary under the title, “Together we protect the nation,” as part of the state’s celebrations of Police Day, in memory of the heroism of its brave men in preserving security, safety, and stability of the nation.

This came under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zein Al-Abedeen, President of Ain Shams University, and Prof. Ghada Farouk, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs and Acting Vice President of the University for Postgraduate Studies and Research, and under the supervision of Colonel staff of war Abu Al-Hassan Abdel Monsef Abu Al-Hassan, Director of the Military Education Department at Ain Shams University, where Ain Shams University students participated in the 72nd Police Day celebrations at the Air Force Museum under the slogan “Together we protect the nation,” in the presence of Mr. Amr Essam, Coordinator of the Military Education Department.

The Ain Shams University Aon Choir team, which excels in patriotic songs, also participated in the celebration. The celebration was organized by the Air Force Museum, in honor of the families of the righteous police martyrs who sacrificed themselves for the homeland, and in the presence of some of the families of the martyrs of the armed forces, veteran leaders, leaders and officers from the police force and the armed forces, and some... From public figures and students from schools and universities in appreciation and pride for the efforts of the brave policemen in preserving security and safety for our beloved homeland, which confirms the Police Day, the importance of alignment, solidarity and cooperation between the Egyptian people and state institutions in order to confront the forces of evil that seek to destroy the stability of the homeland and divide the Egyptian people, This day reminds us of the heroism of the brave policemen in the Battle of Ismailia in 1952, which must be told to new generations.

Police Day came in commemoration of the heroic epic in Ismailia Governorate on January 25, 1952, in which 50 Egyptian policemen were martyred and 80 injured at the hands of the English occupation after they refused to surrender their weapons and evacuate the governorate building to the occupation.
