The Dean of the Faculty of Arts honors outstanding students in student activities in the first semester of the current academic year
Prof. Hanan Kamel, Dean of the Faculty of Arts, at Ain Shams University, honored outstanding students who won first places in various competitions at the university and college levels, which were held during the first semester of the academic year 2023/2024, under the auspices of Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen, President of the University.
Prof. Hanan Kamel praised the keenness of the students to participate in the various student activities offered by the faculty and university and to obtain first places in them, in addition to academic excellence, which contributes to the formation of a distinguished, integrated personality.
The Dean of the Faculty honored the distinguished students in various artistic, cultural, social, and sporting fields, scientific activities, and scouts. She honored the acting team that won the Best Show Award (first place) at the university level for the theatrical performance “Someone’s Life” at the University’s Self-Sufficiency Festival, the students of the chess competition, the scouts and fawn festival competitions, where the faculty scouts clan won first place in the falcon festival at the university level, the exemplary male and female student at the faculty level, and the trained student.
She also praised the efforts of the education sector and students, led by Prof. Muhammad Ibrahim, Vice Dean of the Faculty, and the Youth Welfare Department, headed by Mrs. Suha Al-Sabaa, Director of Administration, all heads of committees and departments, members of the administration, and the Student Union and its Council, which is led by student Hilmi Ahmed and student Walaa Tayseer, his deputy, and their role in preparing and implementing student activities optimally.
For his part, Prof. Muhammad Ibrahim, Vice Dean of the Faculty for Education and Student Affairs, pointed out that this honor contributes to raising students’ self-confidence and their belonging to the faculty, which provides them with all the capabilities to support activities and reflects the faculty administration’s keenness to support various student activities, which refines students' skills and prepares them for the labor market that seeks a graduate armed with knowledge and various skills.
At the end of the honoring, all students were keen to take memorial photos with the Dean and Vice Dean of the Faculty.
