A visit by the official of the Erasmus Plus Academic Exchange Program at the University of Donaria de Jos Galati (Romania) to the Training and Development Center at Ain Shams University

The Training and Development Center at Ain Shams University received a visit from Mrs. Adriana Petrescu, Director of the Academic Exchange Office (Erasmus Plus) at the University of Galati (Romania), within the framework of the Erasmus Plus cooperation agreement between the two universities for scientific and cultural exchange and the development of joint research programs and study programs for postgraduate studies as well as student exchange, professors, researchers, and administrators.

         
   
         

Prof. Nevin Assem, Director of the Training and Development Center, accompanied Mrs. Adriana Petrescu on an inspection tour of the Center’s headquarters in the IHUB building, and was accompanied by Dr. Noha Al-Rafii, Deputy Director of the Department and Coordinator of Erasmus Plus Agreements at Ain Shams University, and Dr. Aziz Shaker, Assistant Erasmus Plus Agreements Coordinator.

The official in charge of the Erasmus+ office at the University of Galati (Romania) praised the training held by the center, especially the “University Administration and Leadership” program, which is the program that qualifies for the position of dean of a faculty or institute in Egyptian universities, and also the “sign language” program for employees of the Egyptian National Postal Authority within the presidential initiative to integrate people with special needs. And she expressed her aspiration to transfer these experiences to Galati University in Romania.

         
   
         

This visit came within the agenda of exchange visits to the university’s international relations and academic cooperation sector, the training and development center, some of the university’s faculties, and the ZaffranMuseum within the framework of the joint Erasmus+ agreement between the two universities.
