The Dean of the Faculty of Al-Alsun receives the international Korean artist Ik-Joong Kang

Prof. Salwa Rashad, Dean of the Faculty of Al-Alsun at Ain Shams University, received Mr. Mr. Byung Sun Choi, Minister Plenipotentiary and Consul General of the Korean Embassy in Cairo, and the international Korean artist Ik Jung-kang, in the presence of Dr. Sarah Maged, a lecturer in the Korean Language Department, shortly before delivering a lecture on art entitled “The Things I Know,” followed by a workshop with faculty students.

During the meeting, Prof. Salwa Rashad, Dean of the Faculty, confirmed that the Korean Language Department at the Faculty is one of the most prestigious departments in Egypt and the Middle East for teaching the Korean language and its culture, pointing to the effective cooperation between the department and the South Korean Embassy in Cairo and the support it provides to the department at the level of references and Koreans teachers for the department. She also explained that the members of the Korean Language Department at the faculty today work in many prestigious positions in various local and international institutions.

She continued her speech, noting that the Faculty administration is keen to host language holders of various specializations to enrich the educational process and enhance the capabilities and capabilities of Egyptian students in mastering the Korean language and its culture, to consolidate international relations and academic cooperation with the Korean side.
