The new academic year 2023-2024 began from the first moments amid a package of measures taken by the Faculty of Al-Alsun at Ain Shams University, under the auspices of Prof. Ghada Farouk, Acting President of the University, Prof. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Salwa Rashad, Dean of the Faculty, and supervised by Prof. Nasser Abdel-Al, Vice Dean of the Faculty for Education and Student Affairs.

         
   
         

Prof. Salwa Rashad, Dean of the Faculty of Al-Alsun at Ain Shams University, made an exploration tour to ensure the regularity of the educational process on the first day of study at the faculty for the academic year 2023/2024, and she confirmed that the educational process is regular in the halls from the first hour of the academic year in all departments.

         
   
         

She indicated that the hybrid education process will continue during the new academic year, as ground-based education coincides with e-learning, in order to serve the educational process effectively. She also explained that the faculty administration has taken broad steps to prepare to receive students by carrying out a comprehensive maintenance process for the faculty buildings and halls, and replacement is underway. Three new electric generators were renovated in order to increase the faculty’s electrical capacity and loads. A large part of the place designated for students’ rest was also developed and a new outlet was created for them next to the faculty’s new theatre.

   
   

On another level, the department heads of faculty staff and teaching assistants held a series of introductory meetings for new students. Ten introductory meetings were held during the first week of study for the Italian, Russian, French, English, Persian, German, Arabic, and African languages departments. Chinese, Turkish, Portuguese, Czech.

   
   

The departments will also complete their introductory seminars during the second week, which are the departments of Spanish, Chinese, Semitic, and Korean languages, in the faculty’s conference hall and the simultaneous interpretation hall, amid organizational procedures in cooperation with the various faculty departments and departments charged with organizing meetings according to mechanisms that have been developed to facilitate and serve work within the faculty’s corridors.
