The Faculty of Al-Alsun receives some Chinese students from Guangdong University of Foreign Studies to study the Arabic language at the faculty

Prof. Salwa Rashad, Dean of the Faculty of Al-Alsun, Ain Shams University, Prof. Nasser Abdel-Al, the vice dean for education and student affairs and director of the Confucius Institute, Prof. Youmna Safwat, Vice Dean of the Faculty for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, and Prof. Omaima Khashaba, Head of the Arabic Language Department at the Faculty, On Tuesday, September 12, 2023, met with a number of Chinese students at the Guangdong University of Foreign Studies to study the Arabic language at the Faculty of Al-Alsun.

During the meeting, the students were briefed on the distinguished program of the Refa’a Al-Tahtawi Unit for developing linguistic and translation skills, in the presence of a number of professors from the Arabic Language Department who specialize in teaching the Arabic language to foreigners.

This comes within the framework of international cooperation between Ain Shams University and Chinese universities, and within the efforts made by the Confucius Institute to introduce the various educational services provided by the university for studying the Arabic language at the Refa’a Al-Tahtawi Unit for developing language skills and translation and through the Arabic language program with the credit hour system for non-native speakers at the college.
