The meeting of the President of Ain Shams University and his deputy for postgraduate studies with distinguished Egyptian scientists abroad to develop study programs and a research plan

Within the framework of Ain Shams University's keenness to follow up on all that is new in the fields of modern sciences, and in the belief in the role played by Egyptian scholars and university students abroad, with the aim of enhancing cooperation and improving study programs and academic plans, Ain Shams University hosted an important meeting between Prof. Mahmoud El-Meteini, President of Ain Shams University, Prof. Mohamed Ayman Saleh, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research, and a group of distinguished Egyptian scientists residing abroad.

The meeting was held via Zoom technology in the large meeting hall of the Networking and Information Technology Center at the university, in the presence of Dr. Abdullah Sami, General Supervisor of the Delegate Welfare Office at Ain Shams University, and Dr. Ramzi Abdel Aziz, a researcher at Alto University, Finland.

This pioneering step comes within the framework of the university's desire to raise the level of higher education and develop curricula to keep pace with modern scientific and technological developments by benefiting from the expertise of distinguished Egyptians in various scientific and academic disciplines to improve the quality of education and develop scientific research.

The meeting discussed many important issues, including the improvement of academic programs, where the participants exchanged ideas and opinions on how to develop and update the school curricula to meet the requirements of the times and the changing needs of the labor market, promoting scientific research by emphasizing the importance of supporting scientific research and encouraging scientists to conduct studies and research that contribute to the development of society and achieve scientific and technological progress, conduct qualitative research in which more than one scientific discipline contributes to ensure the efficiency and strength of the impact of scientific research, and build scientific partnerships between the university and international academic institutions by hosting visiting professors to exchange experiences and knowledge and organizing joint scientific workshops and seminars to ensure the establishment of channels Scientific guarantees the conduct of distinguished scientific research.

And Prof. Mahmoud El-Meteini, President of the University, discussed the development of the university at all levels and how to present these proposals within the development system within Ain Shams University to ensure a distinguished level that achieves the leadership of Ain Shams University at all scientific and research levels.

During the meeting, His Excellency also stressed the importance of encouraging Egyptian scholars who were sent abroad to return home, and supporting opportunities for research projects and cooperation in their specialized fields.

For his part, Dr. Ayman Saleh, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research, confirmed that the integration of distinguished Egyptian scientists abroad within the university community of Ain Shams University will contribute to building the future of the university and ensure the building of scientific cadres keeping pace with scientific developments around the world.

At the end of the meeting, the attendees expressed their gratitude to Ain Shams University for hosting this important event and for its keenness to develop higher education in Egypt.
