Celebration of the International Nursing Day in Ain Shams University Hospitals, honoring hospital directors, heads, and members of distinguished nursing teams

The Central Administration of Nursing at Ain Shams University Hospitals celebrated International Nursing Day, under the auspices of Prof. Ali Al-Anwar, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, at Ain Shams University, Prof. Tariq Youssef, Executive Director of Ain Shams University Hospitals, and in the presence of Prof. Sherif Mohsen, Deputy Executive Director for Pay Therapy Affairs, and Dr. Manal Abdel Salam, Director General of the Central Administration of Nursing.

Dr. Manal Abdel Salam opened the celebration by extending thanks and gratitude to the members of the nursing teams in hospitals, centers, and departments at Ain Shams University Hospitals. She also indicated, as she described it, that the metal of the nursing profession has a special and invaluable luster, then she added thanks to the members of the nursing teams at the Martyr Ahmed Shawky Hospital for Geriatrics for their efforts to accredit the hospital to become the first university hospital in Egypt to obtain accreditation.

         
   
         

Also, Prof. Sherif Mohsen thanked the Central Nursing Administration for its dedication to work, which, as he described it, is good at dealing with crises. He added that the nursing profession is the main arm of hospitals and contributes to providing the best medical treatment service to citizens and that it is the basis of any medical service in hospitals.

Prof. Tariq Youssef concluded the ceremony by expressing his great happiness at being among his brothers from the various nursing staff, and he thanked them in general, but in particular, he thanked the nursing staff of the Poison Center, who proved, according to him, that he works continuously and diligently at all levels.

         
   
         

He added that the nursing profession and its importance must be emphasized, as he described it as the most stable of the medical professions, as it may extend for about 40 years.

He concluded his speech by saying that time, effort, and work have proven to everyone the extent of the development of the nursing system and making it an integrated system at the level of Ain Shams University Hospitals.

On the sidelines of the celebration, the Central Nursing Administration honored of Prof. Tariq Youssef and Prof. Sherif Mohsen for their continuous support to the administration. Also, the directors of hospitals and centers, heads of nursing of hospitals and centers, members of the training staff, and distinguished nursing staff, were honored.
