A delegation of students of determination at Ain Shams University witnesses the opening of an exhibition of products (people with disabilities) at the Infantry Officers House in Cairo

The Popular Defense Forces (PDF) in cooperation with Ain Shams University, and under the auspices of Prof. Mahmoud El-Meteini, President of Ain Shams University, and Prof. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, under the supervision of Colonel staff of war Ahmed Fahmy, Director of the Department of Military Education at Ain Shams University, and the coordination of Mr. Amr Essam, Coordinator of the Department of Military Education at the university, and the attendance of students of determination at the university, organized the opening activities of an exhibition of products for people with disabilities at the House of Infantry Officers of the Armed Forces.

The inauguration was attended by Major General Walid Hamed Al-Hamaki, Commander of the Popular and Military Defense Forces, along with a number of executive leaders of the Popular and Military Defense Forces and officials of the Council.

This comes within the framework of the directives of the political leadership to raise the level of awareness and raise the spirit of loyalty and belonging among university students, by participating in field visits.

The aim of holding these exhibitions is to integrate people with disabilities into society, highlight their efforts and contribution to the Egyptian economy, work to empower them economically, and encourage them to continue producing and presenting their various products that work to advance the economy in the country, which necessarily contributes to changing society's perception towards Persons with disabilities and works to present them as active persons in society.

This comes through the support and keenness of the Education and Student Affairs Sector headed by Prof. Dr.. Abdel Fattah Saud, Vice President of the University, in implementation of the directives of His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, to expand the integration, care and empowerment of university students with abilities and determination, and their positive participation in all forums and events.

Believing in the importance of integrating these students, the Education and Student Affairs Sector headed by Dr. Abdel Fattah Saud is a plan to achieve active participation within the components of the university community. Saud recommended that the role of the university towards its children of determination not only stop at participating in various activities, but also maximizing the capabilities of these students, which will benefit them and their communities.

The students expressed their great happiness with the interest of Ain Shams University and its constant keenness to participate and be present in such events, and they thanked His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi for the real interest they had felt during the past years, which came through presidential conferences and the initiative (They are capable of differently). Which comes as an integral component of the pillars of the new republic, and they also expressed their sincere thanks and gratitude to the armed forces represented in the Popular and Military Defense Forces, which are always keen to direct permanent support to them through their participation in celebrations that bring them happiness and pleasure.

The students listened to the explanation of the persons with disabilities who participated in the exhibition about how their products are manufactured, the materials used in that, the percentage of the local component in them, the prices of these products, and the sales rates.In a related context, the general supervisor of the National Council for Persons with Disabilities said that the Council, in cooperation with the leadership of the Popular and Military Defense Forces, has prepared a special program to hold many exhibitions of products for persons with disabilities in various governorates of the Republic, and it will be implemented during the period from May 4 to 14. next October.

About 50 disabled exhibitors participate in this exhibition, and it includes many products and handicrafts manufactured by persons with disabilities, and these products are displayed by them, as well as through associations working in the field of disability, to emphasize the importance of the important and effective role played by institutions Civil society.
