Today... Celebration of the Equal Educational Opportunities Initiative for All at Ain Shams University

Under the auspices of Minister Nevin Al-Kabbaj, Minister of Social Solidarity, Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of Ain Shams University, Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saud, Vice President of Education and Student Affairs, and Prof. Dr. Ghada Farouk, Acting Vice President of the University of Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, in light of the National Initiative for Equal Educational Opportunities for All and the protocol held between the Ministry of Social Solidarity and Ain Shams University, and in light of the university and the Ministry’s keenness to pay attention to the university youth category, especially students with disabilities, and to provide all means of support to achieve Academic compatibility, the Social Solidarity Unit is organizing a celebration of the Equal Educational Opportunities Initiative for all in the Great Conference Hall, Faculty of Pharmacy, Ain Shams University, today, Thursday, 24/11/2022.

The initiative aims to achieve equal educational opportunities for all for the Ministry of Social Solidarity and to distribute (66) laptops for students with visual disabilities from different faculties (Faculty of Arts, Faculty of Al-Alsun, Faculty of Law, Faculty of Business, Faculty of Specific Education) from different classes, and handing over (4) laptops to university employees with visual impairments.

The celebration will be held under the supervision and attendance of Mr. Salah Hashem, advisor to the Ministry of Social Solidarity for social policies and general coordinator of social solidarity units in Egyptian universities, the celebration is coordinated by Prof. Dr. Jihan Ragab, Advisor to the Vice President of Community Service and Environmental Development, and Prof. Dr. Rana Al-Hilali, Director of the Disability Center, under the supervision of Mr. Suhail Hamza, Assistant Secretary of the University of Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, Mrs. Reham Al-Atifi, Acting Assistant Secretary of the University for Education and Student Affairs, and Mrs. Reham Abdel-Rahman, Coordinator of the Social Solidarity Unit.
