The Education and Student Affairs Council holds its fifth session for the current academic year

Prof. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President of Ain Shams University for Education and Student Affairs, chaired the fifth session of the Education and Student Affairs Sector Council, which was held in the meeting hall in the Republic Building in the University City, students, in the presence of the vice deans of the university faculties for education and student affairs, and the members of the council from abroad.

Prof. Abdel-Fattah Saoud, the session, started with congratulating Prof. Mostafa Refaat Ahmed Mohamed Ismail, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Engineering for Education and Student Affairs, due to the issuance of the Republican decision to assume the position of Secretary of the Supreme Council of Universities, wishing him success and reaffirming Ain Shams University's permanent pride in its supervisory cadres.

The Council also congratulated Prof. Safaa Ahmed Mohamed Shehata, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Education for Education and Student Affairs, for taking over the work of the Dean of the Faculty, as well as congratulating Prof. Nasser Abdel-Aal Abdel-Fattah, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Al-Alsun for Education and Student Affairs, to assume the duties of Director of the Confucius Institute, wishing their Excellency continued excellence and success.

         
   
         

The Council welcomed Prof. Mamdouh Mohamed Gad El-Damaty, former Minister of Antiquities and former Dean of the Faculty of Archeology, who joined the membership of the Education and Student Affairs Council, referring to the gratitude of the Council and Ain Shams University for his great sovereignty, which is a great addition to the Education and Student Sector Council.

Prof. Abdel Fattah Saoud, reviewed developments in the education and student affairs sector’s support for the illiteracy eradication project in faculties whose students are assigned this national duty, and the great support given by the Ministries of Higher Education and Scientific Research and Social Solidarity to the initiative of Ain Shams University in this national project, pointing out that the sector is in the process of opening literacy classes; In order to facilitate students to carry out this patriotic duty, while opening channels of communication with the various institutions with which the university cooperates, to prepare a comprehensive database of illiterates in their institutions, ready for students.
