This came in the presence of the members of the Supreme Committee for the Supervision of Elections, who are: Prof. Dr. Walaa Anis, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Specific Education for Education and Student Affairs, and Prof. Dr. Tamer Abdel Moneim Rady, professor at the Faculty of Commerce and the committee's liaison officer, and Mrs. Reham Al-Atifi, who is managing the work of the Assistant Secretary of the Education and Student Affairs Sector, and Mr. Ibrahim Saeed, Acting Director General of the Office of the Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, and Prof. Mohamed Abdel-Malik, Director General of Legal Affairs, and students, Mustafa Mahmoud Al-Sayed, fourth year, at the Faculty of Law, and student Hadeer Ismail Bakr, third year, at the Faculty of Commerce.

In a rich dialogue with the students, Prof. Dr. Abdel-Fattah Saoud confirmed that the selection of some committees within the Union Council by acclamation does not affect the atmosphere of democracy, but rather reflects the spirit of fellowship and understanding between students and the convergence of their ideas to choose an individual from them who represents them and expresses them and who is an honest transmitter of their votes and demands.

He directed the members of the union to work in accordance with university norms and uphold the language of dialogue between all parties in a way that is in the interest of all, and that the decision is taken according to collective opinion and consultation to achieve the public interest, indicating that the member of the union in any faculty or in the general union is the link between students and the administration. within the faculty and within the university as a whole.

He stressed that the membership of the Council of the General Student Union or the unions of faculties is not a matter of prestige or pride, but rather it is a real opportunity for those who bear this responsibility to acquire skills and experience, given that it consolidates the culture of public work and qualifies him to be an active member within the community serving his country.

And he pointed out the importance of each committee of the federation knowing the roles assigned to it and the responsibilities entrusted to it within its work program and plan, providing a number of examples of the important roles of the federation committees, such as in the social committee, whose main mission is based on providing solidarity services and distributing them in a fair manner, just as The Sports Activity Committee’s role is not limited to holding competitions and matches only, but also encouraging students to practice sports in general so that it becomes a way of life. He added that membership in the union is not an easy matter, but rather a responsibility for which each individual will be held accountable before God and before the university community.

He expressed his happiness at the entry of new faculties in the electoral race, namely the Faculties of Mass Communication and Veterinary Medicine. In his conversation with the students, he also referred to the page " Send your voice, ask the Vice President for Education and Student Affairs" on the social networking site Facebook, which is a direct window for communicating with him personally, directly, within the respected university norms, he expressed his hope that the new federation would exercise its duties and responsibilities as it should, according to a clear map based on integrity.
