Theatrical performance "Sila" wins the awards of the Fourth Cairo International Forum for University Theater

In continuation of the success of the theatrical performance "Sila" produced by Ain Shams University in various local and international forums, the show won a number of awards during its participation in the Cairo International Forum for University Theater in its fourth edition, under the auspices of Prof. Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Tamer Rady, Advisor to the Vice President for Student Activities, and Ms. Reham Al-Atifi, who is responsible for conducting the work of the University’s Assistant Secretary for Education and Student Affairs.

The theatrical show "Sila" succeeded in representing Egypt and Ain Shams University amid a number of theatrical performances of various Arab and foreign countries, including (France, Holland, Mexico, Morocco, Kuwait, Jordan, Saudi Arabia and the Sultanate of Oman).

         
   
         

Following the presentation of the theatrical performance "Sila" on the stage of the Ministry of Youth and Sports as part of the official competition of the Cairo University Theater Forum in its fourth session, the show won many awards, which were: second place in the forum, the award for best directing directed by Ahmed Alaa, and the award for the best actor in a first role, Ahmed El-Gawhari. And the Best Actress award for a second role, Maryam Jibril, and the Best Actor award for a second role, Omar Sharif Badr.

It is noteworthy that the theatrical performance is based on a short story by the great writer Youssef Idris entitled "It was necessary for me to light the light" within the "Bethlehem" group, and the dramaturg Muhammad Al-Suri.

         
   
         

He received a number of awards during his participation in the tenth edition of the Creativity Festival, which is organized annually by the Ministry of Youth and Sports.

The play takes place in a popular neighborhood in Al-Batiniyah and deals with the idea of ​​the human soul through many characters that reflect reality in a great way.

The show is currently preparing to be presented to the general public for the second time on the stage of the "Al-Taliaa" theater, during the period from November 9 to November 17.
