From Stockholm to Sharm El-Sheikh, the march of climate action..A symposium at Ain Shams University

Under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Meteini, President of Ain Shams University, Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Ayman Saleh, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research, and Prof. Dr. Ghada Farouk, acting Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, A symposium (from Stockholm to Sharm El-Sheikh, the march of climate action) was held At Ain Shams University, within the framework of a series of educational seminars launched by the Coordination of Youth Parties and Politicians within Egyptian universities with the aim of enhancing youth capacity building towards climate action and awareness of climate changes in light of Egypt’s hosting of the Cop27 climate summit, and within the efforts of the state Egyptian national and civil institutions working for the climate.

The symposium was held yesterday, Wednesday, at eleven o’clock in the morning in the Conference Hall of the College of Pharmacy, in the presence of the members of the House of Representatives, Dr. Ghada Ali, Mr. Mohamed Ismail, Mr. Ahmed Fathy, and Senators Mrs. Hiam Farouk, Mr. Mohamed Emara.
