The start of the activities of the mock trials season in the English Division of the Faculty of Law

Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of Ain Shams University, Prof. Dr. Abdel Fattah Saoud, Vice President of Education and Student Affairs, and Prof. Dr. Mohamed Safi, Dean of the Faculty of Law, the English Language Division at the Faculty of Law held an introductory lecture for students of the English Division about the activities of mock trials in the Faculty In the next school year.

Prof. Dr. Hossam Ahmed Sobhi Al-Attar, Director of the English Division, opened the meeting, where he focused on the English Division's interest in extra-summer activities, and the English Division's organization of the first competition inside the university for students who wish to do so.

Prof. Dr. Ahmed Ali Dahoum, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, indicated the importance of the mock trials activity in building the student's personality and legal and personal skills, and the college administration's full support and encouragement for these activities.‎

Dr. Ahmed Fathi Khalifa, Director of the International Cooperation Office, also talked about the various skills that participants in the moot trial learn and work on, including critical thinking, and the ability to look at legal issues from different angles, as well as review the international competitions that the college will participate in next year, which are Oxford competitions "Jessup,vis;Oxford"

Also, students who participated in the three competitions in the past years participated in the lecture and spoke to their colleagues about their rich experience in this subject.

It is worth noting that attention to mock trials and interactive learning methods is one of the faculty's priorities in developing its educational service with the aim of obtaining institutional accreditation at the earliest opportunity.
