A workshop on rooftop cultivation at the Faculty of Graduate Studies and Environmental Research

The activities of the second day witnessed the celebration of the Environment Week, which is organized by the Faculty of Graduate Studies and Environmental Research, Ain Shams University under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of the University, Prof. Dr. Hesham Tamraz, Vice President for Community and Environmental Affairs, and Prof. Dr. Noha Donia, Dean of the Faculty of Graduate Studies and Environmental Research, held a workshop at the faculty in cooperation with the Faculty of Agriculture, Ain Shams University and the Arid Lands Institute at Ain Shams University.

The members of the Department of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences attended d. Siham Ahmed Abdel Hamid, head of the department, d. Mahmoud Salah, Dr. Amal Thabet, Dr. Othman's loyalty.

The workshop was attended by Prof. Dr. Nabil Madani, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture for Community Service and Environmental Development, Ain Shams University, and Prof. Dr. Safi, Vice President of the Desert Research Center.

Prof. Dr. Osama El-Behairy, Dean of the Arid Land Institute at Ain Shams University, gave a lecture on rooftop cultivation and its importance in facing climate change. Prof. Dr. Ashraf Bakri, Head of the Genetics Department at the Faculty of Agriculture, Ain Shams University, participated and gave a lecture on forests and climate change.
