More than 500 student activities participated in the competition, as (AMWHO) activity received an invitation to participate for the third time in a row, and passed the qualifiers for the second time in a row to reach the final, as the project was discussed and presented to the jury on the first day, and the booth of the model was presented to the jury, senators and ministers present on the second day, and the winners were announced on the same day.

The model was won by discussing the project of the model, which is the “World Health Assembly Simulation”, which is a conference in which the annual international assembly of the World Health Organization is simulated by raising one of the current health problems to the participating students, who are appointed as representatives of “delegates” countries that are predetermined for them.

Students discuss the health problem presented to them until they come up with a specific solution.

The participating students use the skills of scientific research, communication, debate and negotiation that are acquired during many sessions and workshops organized by the model in advance, which is consistent with the most important objectives of the WHO simulation model, which is to transform medical students by identifying the necessary information about public health and the necessary skills to representatives of countries Delegates and Health Advocates

The (AMWHO) team also discussed the Sustainable Development Goals covered by the model and discussed them during the sessions with the students, and the marketing and financial plans needed to establish the project for the model were also discussed.
