A training camp for the scout's team of Ain Shams University, with the participation of Port Said University

Under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of the University, and Prof. Dr. Abdel-Fattah Saoud, Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs, the Scout clan of the University organized a training camp for the university’s Scout team at the Port Said International Camp for Scouts in Port Said, with the participation of Port Said University Scout team, from December 15-19 under the slogan “Towards a global citizen.”

         
   
         

The camp witnessed the participation of 100 backpackers from Scout clans of faculties (Arts, Law, Science, Computer and Information Science, Business, Education, Specific Education, Girls, Al-Alsun, Dentistry, Agriculture, Engineering and Nursing), under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Tamer Rady, Advisor to the Vice President of Education and Student Affairs for Student Activities and Mr. Mohamed Al-Khatib, Assistant Secretary for Education and Student Affairs, and Mr. Mohamed Al-Sharqawi, Director General of the General Administration of Youth Welfare, and Mrs. Asmaa Khater, Director of Mobile Administration, in the presence of Prof. Dr. Hamdi Moussa, Professor at the Faculty of Agriculture and former Chairman of the Board of Directors of the General Union of Scouts and Guides.

         
   
         

During the training camp on technical, cultural, and scouting skills, public service such as volunteering and community development was carried out through a series of events and activities. Distinguished students were honored in the activities in the camp in the presence of a delegation of youth welfare supervisors at Port Said University, souvenirs were also exchanged, an evening party was held, and paragraphs were exchanged between delegations in an atmosphere of fun and happiness, taking into account the precautionary measures to prevent the Corona virus.
