An international magazine honors a faculty member at Ain Shams University for his efforts in evaluating more than 100 international research papers

As part of the efforts of Ain Shams University to confront the potential developments of the Corona virus pandemic, under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Mahmoud El-Metini, President of the University, and Prof. Dr. Ayman Saleh, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research, faculty staff at Ain Shams University are achieving the vision of the university administration in this regard at the international level.

Dr. Abdullah Sami, General Supervisor of the Scholarships Welfare Office, received congratulations from the Managing Editor of the International Scientific Journal PLOS and PLOS ONE for his efforts in evaluating more than 100 research papers on Corona virus while working as an academic editor for the journal.

Dr. Abdullah Sami, in his role as Academic Editor of the Journal since 2018, has played a prominent role in editing several research papers in the fields of epidemiology of various infectious diseases, public health, and the dynamics of the spread of infectious diseases.

It is worth noting that most of the research that was evaluated as an editor in this field included models that predict the dynamics of the spread of the Corona virus in different countries of the world such as China, Italy, Canada, the United States of America, the United Kingdom, Serbia, and other countries.

Some of these researches included the impact of the Corona pandemic on clinical trials, and other research reflects the impact of some countries’ measures to address the Corona virus pandemic.
